Neurodevelopmental therapy, a problem-solving approach, is commonly used to treat movement disorders in children with central nervous system disorders. NDT focuses on enhancing the sense of movement through intrinsic and extrinsic sensory feedback mechanisms through stimulus-functional play therapy that gets the child an active participant in the therapy. At the Health Alliance, we have trained NDT therapists who design a customized program for your child specifically to meet his or her developmental needs. Our experienced therapist will guide you and your child through the entire program and will monitor and review progress with you on a regular basis.
